About

Ryley Hatchard is a Registered Psychologist working in south Calgary and the Foothills area with children, youth, and their families.

Ryley has over 10 years of experience working directly within a school system as well as in not-for-profit and private settings. She is professionally affiliated with the College of Alberta Psychologists (#4961) and the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.

Ryley has experience conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, providing behavioral and mental health consultative support to school teams and parents, supervision to school-based counsellors and university students completing their master’s degree in educational psychology, and direct counselling support to children, teens, young people, and their families. Some of the specific areas that she has helped families with include:

Experience

 
  • Ryley has experience working within a school setting providing counselling intervention to children and youth, psycho-educational assessments, consulting with school teams to meet the social-emotional and behavioral needs of their students, collaborating with other professionals including Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Language Therapists, and providing supervision to school-based counsellors.

  • Ryley has additional experience providing developmental and behavioral support to families who have a child diagnosed with a developmental disability, in both not-for-profit and private settings, to address emotional regulation, social skills, executive functioning, and adaptive behavioral concerns.
